Boarding Camp

Set on 127 acres in the beautiful Hudson Valley, this is every city dog’s dream spot. Fields and woods are abound for endless romping and playing. Far Fetched Acres is a dog boarding camp for NYC dogs! Our securely fenced in and double gated acre dog run provides hours of supervised off- leash play and enjoyment. Dogs are welcome to stay and play or learn new behaviors with our board and train program.

Eat. Fetch. Play. Sleep. Repeat!

We do require daily naps between play sessions to maintain a well-balanced, healthy dog. Our goal is to provide our fur guests with adequate restorative rest as well as ample play and exercise. We also provide fluffy beds, chew toys (with permission) and fetch galore.

At Far Fetched Acres we believe in a stress free grooming experience. This means all of our counselors are not only trained to be animal care takers, but trained groomers as well. By ensuring consistency with handlers, your pup feels more comfortable knowing he is in good hands. Stress Free grooming empowers your pooch to pick the grooming schedule that he is most comfortable with. Usually this means beauty rest in between pamperings, or some play time to get out a case of the zoomies.

Our full service grooming salon offers everything from haircuts and baths, to nail trims and ear cleanings. Grooming is not just for high maintenance breeds, in fact, grooming is recommended for all shapes and sizes of dogs. Regular grooming can prevent excessive shedding, skin and paw disorders, painful mats, as well identify other problems that might go unnoticed without the extra hands-on attention.

Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring - it was peace.
